The IBF - Regional Committees

The IBF is represented in all German financial centers. With its regional committees in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart, it offers a network platform for professional, technical and personal meetings throughout Germany.

The International Bankers Forum e.V. was founded more than 35 years ago in Germany’s capital of money. Between the bank headquarters, the European Central Bank and the Deutsche Bundesbank, the association has its headquarters and office in Frankfurt’s West End. Not only round tables are held there, pan-European hybrid conferences (a mixture of presence and video meetings) are also organized and held from here. The Frankfurt regional committee has been famous for decades for its regular jour fixes for the more than 400 members from the Rhine-Main metropolitan region.

As early as 1990, the IBF’s regional committee was established in close proximity to the political players in the German capital. Accordingly, cultivating relations with the financial industry’s trade associations is at the forefront of activities here. The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is Germany’s northernmost banking and insurance center. Traditionally characterized by private banking houses and German as well as foreign institutions, which have their focus on the support and financing of international trade. For more than 25 years, the International Bankers Forum has had a local presence and is well established in the banking community. Exquisite events in the renowned Überseeclub, fireside chats with leading personalities of national politics, but also on-site visits of well-known companies characterize the annual program of the IBF in Hamburg.
