The International Bankers Forum e.V. collects the following data from its personal members for internal use:
Name, first name, and date of birth of the member
Employer and position
Private postal address, telephone number, and email address
Business postal address, telephone number, email address, and website
Bank debit details (if provided)
These data are processed and stored as part of the membership. By declaring your membership with the International Bankers Forum e.V., the International Bankers Forum e.V. will process your personal data as follows:
For general internal postal and electronic correspondence:

For electronic sending of invitations, newsletters, etc., via rapidmail:

We would like to inform you that electronic invitations to events, newsletters, and similar information from the association are sent via “rapidmail.” Rapidmail is a newsletter delivery platform provided by rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg, Germany.
The email addresses of our members are stored on the servers of rapidmail in Germany. Rapidmail uses this information to send and analyze newsletters on our behalf. Additionally, rapidmail may use this data to optimize or improve its services, for example, to enhance technical delivery and presentation of newsletters or for economic purposes, such as determining from which countries the recipients come. However, rapidmail does not use our members’ data to contact them directly or share it with third parties.

In accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective from May 25, 2018, we inform you that consent for sending email addresses is based on Art. 6(1)(a), 7 GDPR, as well as § 7(2) No. 3 or (3) of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG).
The use of the dispatch service provider rapidmail, the statistical evaluations and analyses, and the recording of the registration process are based on our legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest lies in the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves both our business interests and the expectations of users.
Furthermore, we inform you that you may object to the future processing of your personal data at any time in accordance with the legal provisions of Art. 21 GDPR.
The objection can specifically be made against processing for direct advertising purposes.
